I really enjoyed the Teaching Tolerance article. What I am now realizing is how much more comfortable I am with addressing questions and leading discussions about race and diversity. As educators, if we learn and discuss these issues frequently with family, friends, colleagues, etc., it will only better prepare us to foster rich dialogue in the classroom.
